Prof. Dr. Christoph Buck

Prof. Dr. Christoph Buck was appointed Professor of IT Entrepreneurship and IT Innovation Management in the International Information Systems course at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences. He heads the Digital Innovation Management group at the Business & Information Systems Engineering branch of Fraunhofer FIT.

Wolfgang Kratsch

Wolfgang Kratsch has been appointed Professor of Applied AI in Digital Value Creation at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences. He continues to conduct research at Fraunhofer FIT and heads the Value-Oriented Process Management group at the Business & Information Systems Engineering branch of Fraunhofer FIT.

Niklas Kühl

Niklas Kühl was appointed Professor of Business Informatics and Human-Centered AI at the University of Bayreuth. In addition he took over as head of the Business Analytics group at Fraunhofer FIT's Business & Information Systems Engineering branch.

Anna Maria Oberländer

Anna Maria Oberländer was appointed Junior Professor of Information Systems and Digital Transformation at the University of Bayreuth. She will remain with Fraunhofer FIT as a researcher and head the Digital Innovation Management group at the Business & Information Systems Engineering branch of Fraunhofer FIT.

Prof. Dr. Antonello Monti

Prof. Dr. Antonello Monti was one of 20 outstanding professors who were honored as UNIPRENEURS by Bettina Stark-Watzinger, Federal Minister of Education and Research, their commitment to promoting entrepreneurship in higher education and research on September 6, 2023.

Dr. Rezaul Karim

For his dissertation on Interpreting Black-Box Machine Learning Models with Decision Rules and Knowledge Graph Reasoning, Dr. Rezaul Karim won the Fraunhofer ICT Dissertation Award 2023 awarded by the Fraunhofer ICT Group.

Humam Kourani

Humam Kourani and FIT alumnus Sebastiaan J. van Zelst were honored with the Best Paper Award of the 21st International Conference on Business Process Management for their paper on POWL: Partially Ordered Workflow Language.

Avikarsha Mandal and Lasse Nitz

Avikarsha Mandal and Lasse Nitz received the Best Paper Award of the European Interdisciplinary Cybersecurity Conference (EICC 2023) for their paper entitled DGA Detection Using Similarity-Preserving Bloom Encoding.
